Dag — farmer, of the Combes.
A farmer from the Combes, Inka's father. Practical, a bit gruff, mildly ironic about "the blessing" — but when he disagrees with the elder Tedo, he holds his tongue. He speaks short and plain; he's often right and seldom says so. It's his daughter who wears "her Goldie" on a string.
