Dag's eight-year-old daughter, from the Combes. Cheerful, stubborn about her own things, she trusts people for no reason and comes out the better for it. She talks like a child — sing-song, whatever she's thinking. On a string she wears a thing of the old world found by the old ford, which she calls "my Goldie": dark-goldish, warm to the touch. It's around this stone, and around her, that a wave of impossible healings turns in the Combes — ones that Zora can't explain.
